IN BLOOM
May 2019

Dear *|FNAME|*,

The Random Acts of Flowers workshop has been awash in springtime flowers for the last few months, and we have used them to make more than 3,100 deliveries of hope and encouragement in our community since you last heard from us.

We have some exciting opportunities available if you’d like to participate in our mission this summer and we have some great news to report about how we’ve impacted lives. We hope you’ll read on to find out everything we’ve been up to this spring!

SPREADING KINDNESS FROM FLORIDA TO THE FROZEN NORTH!

Have you heard of Pink Lady Floral?

Our dear friend and volunteer Heather spends the winter with us, but returns to Canada when the weather warms. When she’s there, she runs Pink Lady Floral, delivering hope to her community in St. Catherine’s, Ontario.

Since 2017, she has delivered more than 500 arrangements in her northern home!

NEWS FROM THE WORKSHOP
  • A THEATRICAL THANK YOU – The Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts donated tickets to our volunteers so that they could enjoy a fun night at the Mahaffey Theater.
  • GRANTS FOR DELIVERING HOPE – We’ve received several grants in support of our mission over the last few months. Thank you to Walmart Neighborhood Market in Dunedin, Chargebacks 911, and the Delivered with Heart Awards!
  • THE NEXT GENERATION OF GIVERS – We have been honored to have young people fill our workshop this spring, learning about giving back to their community. Thank you to Palm Harbor University High School and Girl Scout Troop 50033.
  • TAKING THE MISSION ON THE ROAD – On April 3rd, we took the show on the road and shared our mission to the members of East Lake Woodlands Country Club. We guided a sold out crowd of 75 ladies to create bouquets that were delivered to Morton Plant Hospital!
